 Ever felt page fright?                          

 All writers do!  Page Fright and How to Overcome It takes a fresh  look at the entire notion of “inspiration” that will dispel the terror we all sometimes feel on confronting the blank page or empty screen.  We'll look at the role of craft versus genius, through a combination of exercises, discussion and quite a lot of fun, too.  Let's explode the myth that great ideas “just come”. 

This workshop is taking place in beautiful Fowey, Cornwall, on Saturday 14 May, as part of the 2011  Du Maurier Literary Festival.   Whether you're an aspiring beginner or a practising writer, you'll be encouraged to explore and put to practical use the underrated fact that beyond the blank page and jaded imagination lies a world accessible to all writers - a world teeming with places, people, human predicament and possibilities for fiction.  Think of it as a spa day for the mind.  Hurry - there are only a few  places left!
